Teaser & the Firecat

TeaserIf you’re a fan of 70’s pop singer Cat Stevens, you’re probably familiar with his album called Teaser and thre Firecat. When my daughter was little, she loved his children’s book of the same name. It’s a very cute story about how Teaser and the Firecat help put the moon back into place after it falls onto the roof of an old barn. Written and illustrated by Cat Stevens himself, the book is now inexplicably out of print. Pristine copies of the original hardback sell for up to $500 apiece, so you’re unlikely to ever find a copy for yourself. Click the book’s cover to visit a page I’ve put up of pagescans from this kid’s classic.
